"PORT ROYAL PLANTATION IS HILTON HEAD ISLAND'S ONLY PRIVATE GATED OCEANFRONT RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY. I have lived in Port Royal Plantation for 30 years. There are only permanent residents and second homes, no short term rentals. Three golf courses, Beach Club with a Large Oceanfront Pool. All homes have beach access. My three grown sons are true natives of Hilton Head Island. They were born at Hilton Head Hospital and traveled the short distance home to Port Royal Plantation. GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!"
