"Driving around Cleburne is easy however commuting to the city (I.e. Dallas or Fort Worth) it’s a nightmare. Bumper to bumper traffic, hour plus delays, accidents ALL the time. "
  • Trulia User
"There are no dog parks, no public places dogs can be off leash (legally permitted city ordinances) and there are only a few pet friendly businesses. "
  • Pedro Galvan
"Everyone is nice I like it here , grew since I was ten and I rode my bike everyone around here , I like how everything is close and reachable "
  • Tanner Trujillo
"Decent. 917 is under construction, the train stops on the tracks way too many times, and the bridge is a beast, but once I’m on the highway it is smooth sailing. "
  • Newtammylynn1966
"don't know i don't get out much but they have great park's were you can feed the ducks and have great quality time with your family and they have a water park here and even though its small its really nice to go too for the day down town on the square is nice to go door to door shops or enjoy a play here in town we have a good size lake you can have fun with the family . there are lots of churches you can chose from and all kinds of restaurants .Also if you want to go to a small but really nice college try out Hill College We have a nice Hospital here too right of off HWY 67 "
  • Thejoelgeneration
"Though Cleburne does have a public transit system available, most residents drive their own vehicle to commute, whether it be around town or to the metroplex. "
  • Kara M.
"Too many cats, people are nosy, Good neighborhoods, friendly people. You see a lot of people walking their pets. There open spaces. You never feel like your too close to others"
  • Wes
"The Cleburne railroaders games are a good time as well as state ranked High school baseball team. There are some good museums and festivals in spring and fall as well as whistle stop Christmas"
  • Adorablepsycho
"A few dogs in the area will get out every once in a while but they are all pretty friendly. We have small children and they will sometime meet them at the bus stop."
  • Brooke H.
"has it's up and downs but I love the small city feeling I get while living here. Nice restaurants and businesses "
  • Wes G.
"Downtown Cleburne is thriving, Whistle Stop Christmas is still the best of the best in Johnson County, Loaf’n Dog has great atmosphere and food, and Wild Rose NTX Landscaping has some great lawn care and landscaping to round it out. "
  • Camilleplemmons
"It takes me five minutes to get to work, usually with almost no traffic. It only takes two turns and two traffic lights to get there. "
  • Smileychild0000
"I’ve lived in Cleburne and surrounding area for 9 years now and enjoy the country and chill atmosphere. "
  • Fancy31865
"There are many young families here. Lots of children and friemds to have here. This town closes up early by 9 pm nightly."
  • Jaimee H.
"we have no public transportation here but several people in need. The city would improve greatly if there was a way for people without cars to get around. "
  • Brendamlee70
"It’s a quite place.. Neighborhood is awesome and no trouble from anyone. The streets are clean as well as the yards."
  • Jaimee H.
"There is never any chrime here. I think the most excitement around here is whatever drama happens at my house. Even that is very rare tho. "
  • Graceanne1951
"Quiet neighborhood on weekdays and weekends. Wide streets, mature trees. The neighbors keep watch for suspicious behavior. There are few young children as it is a mature neighborhood."
  • Christaltigner
"I regularly see owners walking their dogs to the park or playground at the elementary school. There is a creek fur babies love to play in."
  • vkushel46
"When I commuted, the travel was awful before the Chisholm Trail, however, that new toll road is a little pricy. I do use it to get to downtown because of the convenience and it made Cleburne a bedroom community to the DFW area..."
  • Taylorb_08
"People don’t spray for fleas and even if you do, your animals will still get them! A lot of renters and they don’t take care of their place like an owner would!!! It’s hard to live in Cleburne "
  • Lesbehaley
"Our community keeps to themselves. There aren’t any curbs in the neighborhood and the rain floods the area. "
  • Lesbehaley
"My parents have lived in the neighborhood for five years and I just recently rented the home next-door to them. Very safe neighborhood. Everyone keeps themselves for the most part."
  • Paulechols y. c.
"Accessibility of Downtown Ft. Worth, TX., entertainment and superb dining. 24 minutes in Chisolm Trail (yes the cattle drive trail) Toll Road. "
  • Shelby o.
"We’ve lived in the neighborhood for two and a half years now. Our neighbors have become close friends, and there’s plenty to do within a short driving distance. "
  • Anna s.
"my fiance has lived in Cleburne 4 years and works for the jail as an inmate transporter. He is retired and he just loves working. he has been in this apt 4 years. I'm disabled and make custom dog beds and other stuff and need a garage. The people at all the stores i go to are very nice and the old houses on tree lined streets are beautiful. I found the house i want with big trees old style windows and doors. I've already met couple across street. I'm a social person and would love too spruce up this front yard. "
