The children at this school are uncontrolled, they say vile things to each other and the bullying is at gross level. The staff have control issues and will make your child write sentences and miss recess for making small mistakes, or for angering the staff. They used my children as targets for their frustrations and irritation. I'm 100% positive they will all say that's not true and of course they would, but I have absolutely no reason to lie about that, my children and I have lived all over this country and Cherokee elementary school is grossly lacking an interpersonal skills, understanding, and the ability to see their own behavior. As a Christian household I do not share the same beliefs as they do either, they allow transgenderism in the ELEMENTARY school, your young children are being exposed to confusion they don't even understand and just want to be liked and have friends so they don't know any better. That stuff needs to say far away from ALL schools!! I'm deeply disappointed in Cherokee elementary school.

My son went to Greenwood Elementary from Pre-k to 4th grade and had a wonderful experience. The teachers were amazing, always taking time to visit with me regarding my son's educational development. The entire Greenwood school staff was friendly, helpful and made the entire grade school years experience very pleasant.

This school has great programs and amazing teachers who invest in the students and care about their education. It also has a wide variety of incredible art and extra curricular programs for the students to take part in. The teacher leadership from teachers like Holly Stocks, Michael Peters, Chuck Pack, Josh Allen, Mark Jordan, Brenda McClain, and Jason Proctor greatly enhance the education experience.
