"Its a shame that families dont have an oppritunity to rent these homes, just students! Landlords must like paying for all the repairs and damage when they move out! Very sad"
  • Trulia User
"It’s not average suburb some folks are nosy some aren’t quiet nice clean area drama free. Community activities are growing "
  • Arpoisker25
"I love Elk township. I grew up here and I had the best childhood and I would love to find a home here one day. "
  • Rachael Olumakin
"Some stores have moved a little closer but they are not walking distance. It’s a quiet neighborhood and it’s not busy at all."
  • Dellewood
"Christmas Tree Lighting, Trick or Treating and house decorating. Also, close proximity to the highway , malls and shopping. Short drive to Philadelphia airport, about 25minutes."
  • A Crossings Tenant
"It’s a very safe town and although the Crossings is off campus college apartments (I am not a student) it is very peaceful and quiet. There is not a LOT of carrying on at all which greatly surprised me. "
  • Abdu
"I have lived in this area for about 3 years and I love it. Great neighborhood many restaurants to enjoy "
  • 530456
"Quiet area. Great code enforcement. No loud music or crime. No trash or unkept lawns. No lose animals or stray kids."
  • Brittanym1395
"Not sure i am not a dog owner . But some should pick up the dog mess . Get smaller dogs . Most the dogs are very friendly "
  • Cesilia H.
"It’s friendly, and the neighbors are very nice. A beautiful place to live. A lot of people have dogs here. "
  • Amanda L.
"There are a lot of streets without sidewalks which can be frustrating. However, there are horses nearby and many different streets to spice up your routine."
  • Matt
"We have annual festivals, tree lightings, & parades. From Italian Heritage, black history, Pride, Food Trucks, Beer, & trick or treating through the town & events "
  • Dellewood
"The school system needs some work but was just given a 2 million dollar grant which may help. Other than that I love everything about this community."
  • Christopherlaubin
"the neighbors complain about dogs if they bark. they will also call the city on you when you're not up to code "
  • Sajsimr05
"Live in a age restricted neighborhood. Don’t like it. Doesn’t have a community feel. Plan to move IF I can sell this place. The taxes are prohibitive, another reason I want to move."
  • Alexissnead98
"It is a safe neighborhood but I believe there is bad everywhere you go so you always have to be careful "
  • Lisahaught
"Safe town community spirit. Sense of community and enrichment. We don’t have small children but our teens flourish here."
  • RB
"There are a few nice parks in the area. There are some dog parks as well. I see plenty of kids and adults riding bicycles. There is a bowling alley and a few cinemas. Friendly area and a few schools as well."
  • Je L.
"Nothing this is a college town and cops are everywhere. And the people are mosey and rude. The school systems are somewhat decent but I wouldn’t recommend living here unless you are a college student or a Single person without kids "
  • Chiny1020044
"Big yard, friendly neighborhood. Dogs have dogs friends around here. All is pretty good no complaints. Been here for 23 years and no one bothers you. Schools are great. There is a doggy Park that’s fenced in the area."
  • Diana C.
"There are several, well maintained, trails that are dog friendly - no traffic, few other people. I would like a sidewalk to walk the dog around the block, sadly there are none of those."
  • Tamfiorella
"It’s a great place for dogs to go for walks. Lots of animal lovers. I’m not sure what else to say here "
  • Andy_patel77
"I have lived in this neighborhood for 1 year and my parents are still here. I visit them at least twice a home. it's peaceful and safe. easy access to all daily needs."
  • Rafael S. V.
"Is a huge college town. They party all weekdays. During school time the traffic is awful and watch out for your kids. They will go 50 on a 25. They are planning to build a train station to connect glassboro to Camden. I’m hoping to move out of glassboro as soon as possible."
  • Rafael S. V.
"Way too many college kids. They drink, make too much noise, get into fights a lot! So you will be hearing the police and the fire truck a lot! Some even will steal your things, or street signs. During the summer time is nice and quiet and it actually looks like a wonderful place to live until the college kids arrive. "
  • Tamfiorella
"I’ve lived here 7 years and love it. Hoping to stay close to this neighborhood but as long as we stay in south jersey that’s fine "
  • Chiny1020044
"I live in this neighborhood for 22 years and I like it. The schools are near by ,Rowan is near ; Church is near and stores. Safe area; big yards and quiet neighborhood. Police Dept ,fire Dept, restaurants are in walking distance. The park is on my same block , and Route 55 is close by. "
  • 01dragonfly79
"great community. great neighbors. great police officers, firefighters and emts. great place for singles because of the university and a great place for families because of the strong community. "
  • Scott C.
"my neighbor likes to walk the dog on everyone's yard to do his duties. has a fenced in back yard and makes sure the dog is off of their property before relieving himself."
