6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was pleasantly surprised that when I visited this school on Welcome New Panthers Night 2013 how polite and helpful all the students were. Everyone we encountered that night was gracious to talk too. The faculty were kind and informative about what the school has to offer there and seemed engaged in their duties as well. I really enjoyed meeting the principal that night. If PVHS has the same energy level that their principal does, it can only be a GREAT place to educate. Mrs. Walters was full of the same energy levels...wow!! As parents of a future high school student, we are trying to decipher right now where to send our child in two years and we can afford any school this town or other towns nearby offer, but PVHS seems like a really good option to us right now. We know other students that have graduated from PVHS and went on to higher education and have done very well for themselves. "Nice neighborhood to live in. The weather is nice all year long. Street side parking is difficult to maneuver. Shopping is easily accessible. Beaches in all directions. There is an abundance of illegal aliens as this is a Sanctuary City. Access to healthcare is easy. Christmas parade and classic car shows are nice."

"The neighborhood is normally nice, quiet and peaceful. Neighbors keep to themselves. We will help each out but we don’t hang out side , or laugh and joke with each other regularly. This is a working class neighborhood. We all have somewhere to be at anytime of the day. We keep an eye out for strangers and speak out if someone looks suspicious. Most neighbors keep their yards respectable...a few or undeterred"
