2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with the school has been excellent at distinct levels. I rate this school high in safety and teaching. The teachers are dedicated and caring. Too often, the media focuses on deficit views of the school, yet the assets offered by this school are often ignored.Parent Review1y ago - Crispus Attucks Medical Magnet High School (9-12)

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a current 8th Grade student in this school, I love it. The style of schooling might not be for everyone but I really enjoy it. I've been here since kindergarten and loved everything from elementary to middle school. I'm mostly leaving this review as I've noticed some very negative reviews from years back when middle school was just developing. Now though the middle school is great with tons of amazing teachers. This school isn't for everybody but I would definitely recommend at least checking it out.Student Review1y ago - George Washington Community High School (9-12)

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has several bright points and also many challenges. I think the school does a really good job with providing a quality place to learn; many awesome teachers, some not as great, that's the way it would go at any school. The principal cares about the students and, in my experience, so do the teachers. Maybe it's not a 5/5, but it's also not a 1, so I want to balance it out.Other Review11mo ago - Shortridge High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff at GWC care about their students and parents. They support the theory that it takes a village to raise a child and encourage parent involvement in the classroom and school. They work with parents if there is a problem and encourage you to reach out with absolutely any questions or concerns. The children thrive and are expected to uphold the Montessori beliefs of kindness, grace, responsibility, and gratitude.Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 2250 N Capitol Ave.

"There are great private schools for children of all ages around us. The sidewalks are always full of families walking dogs & pushing strollers with older children walking or riding along on their bikes. Parents have meet ups in the parks & our HOA has fantastic family activities including Easter egg hunts & we close down Talbott St during the 4th of July to watch the Indianapolis fireworks in the street.
