N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school nurse is the rudest person I've met in my life. The principle is lazy and does nothing at all. For instance a TEACHER was bullying my child last year and nothing was done. It got so bad to the point I had to transfer my child to another school for safety issues and i have to drive my child back and forth to a school 45 minutes away just to get an education!!! They do have one very good teacher that I've met who actually was to do her job and teach the kids and she actually tries to help the children become better people, but we all know one good teacher don't make a good school for our children.Parent Review9y ago

"I grew up in this neighborhood hanging at my grandfather’s home, and now I live here as an adult. It is peaceful and the neighbors are kind. It is that front-porch-sitting kind of street. In the summer and fall, you can smell someone’s backyard fire and in the spring you can hear the wind chimes in the breeze. The location is close to corner markets and a short drive to major grocery retailers. "

"Great place to live and raise kids! You can walk to just about anything you need in Moundsville. Great schools too! There are several parks, sports fields, and walking trails. Check out some history at the Native American mound, the museum, and tour the old WV Penitentiary. At Christmas, Jefferson ave is all decked out for the holidays. There are several events throughout the year too. Great little town with so much interesting history!"
