Competition is pretty high as the town (Davis) is a small community with a very large University of California campus, and thus is filled with parents who have advanced degrees and very high academic standards. I suspect academically weaker students will feel this, but on the other hand academically talented students will have the opportunity to excel. Curriculum and teaching methods are great and social/emotional support has been a blessing at struggling times. Many fun activities.
