There is no PTA or volunteer opportunities for more family involvement in the classroom. There seems to be a disconnect between parents and teachers. The way that they dismiss the students doesn’t allow for interactions between parents and teachers. The school shares information on Facebook and an app but sometimes doesn’t post things on their app and only on their Facebook so keeping up to date on school happenings isn’t as clearly communicate as it could be. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIts a good school, its just that other students (specifically students in upper grades) get into fights and make it a bad experience for those who just want an education. The teachers are chill. Students never feel like learning, always misbehave (this makes teachers upset and the students get disciplined). So if you ever find a kid in middle school, ask them what they think of their teachers. "We have fall festival and I feel like all the neighbors are helping each other to keep the culture of Newman. Newman is a very good place to live which makes it special too. Low crime rate, clean and quiet places, nice people, very good police visibility, no graffiti and it’s a growing community."

"I don’t commute to or from here so I have no opinion with regard to the community. I’ve come here several times to visit and see shows at the local Westside Theatre. The town is always clean and friendly. So nice that I started watching homes for sale here as it seems like it would be a great little retirement community. "
