3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the worst school my child has ever attended, and I think it is the worst in general. They do not care about students at all. They said they would do the best to support my child but then ignored all the needs. Just wasted time to make the meetings but did not do anything to support student need. I did not see any improvement from my child. It seems like they did not teach any thing at school. The people at the main office did not answer when I emailed to ask. Overall, I would rate it minus point if it is possilbe. Avoid this school as you can!Parent Review8mo ago14 Reviews - University Senior High School Charter

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is disproportionately minority students and caters to kids who are not white and straight. I constantly get messages about equity and inclusion and how I should support it but nothing ever about how to protect all student from the weekly fights that take place between non-white students. The Spanish teacher (chair of the Spanish Dept.) has an LGBTQ flag in her classroom that she took down for back to school night when parents were going to be at the school. The next day, she put it back up. Strange. Seems she’s hiding something. Patents are not made to feel welcome and are questioned at the entrance upon showing ID. I’m surprised they’re not frisked, which is what should be done with most of the students. They also got rid of school security for the 2022-23 school year and fights broke out weekly, if not more, between non-white students. Our child won’t be returning.Parent Review2y ago29 Reviews - Daniel Webster Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible school and structure, the teachers does not teach, the staff does not provide emotional support and safety every day there is a fight. staff only concerned with making money off the parents every week they are selling snacks and expect 6th and 7th grade to find 8th grade activities it’s ridiculous. on the first orientation meeting the signs were there webster wasn’t a great school the principal ms bell walks around like she’s confident she is handling the school but she’s not she then presented a power point that never worked, said goodbye as if she was leaving the auditorium then proceeded to stay. she looks nervous and unsure about her job. the teachers aren’t teaching!!! they wanted the parents to pay for p e clothes but the kids never changed clothes and participated in pe they claim they didn’t have enough staff to execute this. my child came home every day with a new story: kids vaping, kids being sexually inappropriate, and how kids brings weapons to webster. even was advised someone was stabbed last year. during orientation i asked why the school has no cameras i didn’t receive an answer. eventually i pulled my child out after all these instancesParent Review3mo ago21 Reviews - Check out schools near 2238 Cotner.

"Playa del Rey is like the suburbs of Venice. Easy bike ride to the beach. Ocean breezes and sunny days. Lots of coffee shops and easy access to the freeways. LAX is 10 minutes away. Beach 10 minutes. Dreams do come true. "

"I’ve lived in Los Angeles County my whole life. There are great, safe locations and not-so-safe ones. As an 20-year-old I started living alone in a studio apartment in Studio City. Never had any issues. My biggest recommendation, get a place that has gated parking or else you might find your catalytic concert stolen!"

"South Park is great as it offers proximity to the restaurants, businesses, entertainment in DTLA, but feels less crowded/congested. The sidewalks are a bit wider, especially great if walking a dog, and the Business Improvement District staff are friendly, almost always around, and helpful. They help keep the streets clean, but also for the most part people in the area a generally mindful of picking up after themselves or pets."

"Toluca Lake is a village. Residents can walk to buy their groceries, shop for gifts or or grab coffee with friends. The village makes it easier to meet people. We have great restaurants too. Halloween is a very big deal here. Houses are so beautifully decorated, trick or treaters come from other communities just to enjoy the spectacle. We have an annual Turkey Trot at Thanksgiving, a Christmas Open House and a Christmas Eve truck full of carolers. And there really is a lake in Toluca Lake. It’s just takes a little maneuvering to catch a glimpse of it."
