Maurepas School/High School is a small, closenit school. The school is small, it is a K-12th grade school that maybe has 400 students (if that) enrolled during a school year. They hosts an array of after school activities for both students and partents to enjoy. Every holiday season they have a French Cafe to raise money for kids who are underprivlaged. The classrooms have no more than 20 students, if that, my daughters graduating class had 15. Some if not most of the teachers at the school are interstead in your childs education and their success.

"We are fairly new here…(1.5 years). Love this neighborhood. The HOA is a bit inconsistent with rule enforcement, but all in all we are very happy here. "

"Have lived here for nearly 10 years. Very stable property values, even through the 2008 economic downturn, as property values held firm. The area is a combination of waterfront and nearby water access properties. It is somewhat "rural" and a bit of a drive to the nearby city of Gonzales (15 - min), but is close to boating, fishing and many other outdoor recreational activities. It is a great place to live and is great place for everyone from families, couples, singles and retirees, as there is much to enjoy here for everyone. "
