Once again the Newberry Elementary have failed my child and myself. The car staff horrible, they walked every other child to their car and open the doors and even held the kids hand but my daughter the didn’t she was afraid to come to her mothers car because on yesterday they held her against her will while trying to enter her mothers car. Today they stuck a cone in front of my car wouldn’t let me leave until the get 8 cars full. I even explained to the sheriff officer that I need to go can they remove the cone. He smirked like it was funny and held them against my will and didn’t let me pull off until the principal instruct them too. I wasn’t in no trouble but held against my will by a sheriff deputy officer and the NES school staff. This cause me to miss work and pick up another sibling from another school. I feel like the officer and principal using the titles to single out my child. My child is afraid of the end of the day school staff. The principal haven’t made a good first time impression. I pick up my child because previous the school district of Newberry my middle child he was left twice on a bus bc the driver for Newberry didn’t check his bus.

We have had a great experience at the middle school. The teachers have been concerned, encouraging and easy to discuss issues with.

My child attends Newberry High and she complains about the administration and students all the time. She cries to me every morning saying she doesn’t want to go to school because it’s draining. I also find it interesting how administration or the guidance counselor don’t check on their students mental health!
