"I've lived in this area for almost two decades and love the easy walk to swingin' downtown Hollywood, the Arts Park, the Atlantic (3 miles for me, but an easy walk). I love the easy access to the Interstate, boat ramps (in Hollywood Lakes), and the stability of the East/West streets three blocks or more from Highway 1. Around 24th to 28th (I-95), the neighborhoods, homes, neighbors, get really nice and with sea-level rise imminent (no longer conjecture), this area is one of the few around that is NOT in a flood plain. My personal neighbors are caribbean, russian, nicaraguan, canadian, a young-euro american couple, a single caucasian man, and a family that has been here for more than 3 decades. These streets are excellent; foot traffic through the area is okay for a major urban center. "
