About this House

Welcome to Rosewood!

We are a 14-bedroom co-living house in North Berkeley. There's the "Main House" with 6 bedrooms, and then 2 separate units in the back with 4 bedrooms each. There is a nice outside patio that separates the Main House from the "Back Units." Our residents are graduate students and working professionals in their 20's and 30's in the fields of engineering, science, architecture, education, and everything in between. We are hikers, rock climbers, musicians, writers, and amateur chefs.

Unlike a more traditional co-op, Rosewood allows its members to choose how much time to invest in the community. Some of us spend weekends and evenings socializing with housemates (board games, movie nights, walks in the hills), while others live more independent lives. The house is often quiet during the day and sometimes at night tooyou wouldn't know that so many people live here! We try to be respectful and keep a tidy home.

The house is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood at the base of the North Berkeley hills. We are within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, parks, libraries, BART, and the UC Berkeley campus. We share beautiful, large common spaces that include a TV room, large dining room, furnished patios and multiple kitchens. Our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, dishware, dishwashers, cooking utensils etc.

This charming studio offers a comfortable and convenient living space. Perfect for a single person or has option for a couple (additional charge applies)
- Private Bathroom: Separate bathroom for added comfort. Optional off-street car parking available.
- Rent includes all utilities and professional cleaning of common spaces every 2 weeks

"I have been living at the cross of Virginia and Spruce for nearly 5 years and loved it. It's quiet, close to the university. 10 min walk from Downtown Berkeley BART, 3 movies theaters, Groceries (Safeway, Walgreens) and a lot of restaurants. Berkeley gourmet ghetto is 4 blocks away. In addition to that, you're very close to Berkeley Hills and Tilden park. Top neighborhood."
