There are teachers and staff at Grant Elementary that are very dedicated, hard working, and genuinely outstanding. They have so much compassion and really go the extra mile in giving their all to help children learn and grow in a positive environment. With that being said, there are also individuals that are not perfect, that do not show the same dedication in their work as a teacher, staff, ect. This is where it is appropriate to take the good with the bad. Not every school your children go to is going to be perfect in every way. YOU can be part of the solution to create a better learning environment in your home as well as participating in the classroom. WE ALL have areas in our own lives where we can improve. Be the change you want to see in the world. Grant Elementary is really great in so many ways. YES, they can improve. WE ALL CAN. Working together can really help to solve many of the problems. When there is one-sidedness, that is where problems arise and there is no greater good. PRINIPALS, TEACHERS, PARENTS, STAFF, AND STUDENTS need to work TOGETHER with the goal of unity in mind. "This area is quiet and friendly, not perfect but definitely lovely! There is a mall, many restaurants and locally owned businesses as well. The mountain view and orchards are very nice too and close to the Columbia River for swimming as well!"

"It’s quiet enough to walk your dogs. Lots of families and very few vehicles driving quickly. I would say it’s a very safe neighborhood to take your pets for a stroll. "
