6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is learning to return the disrespect that she is getting from certain teachers who think that screaming into the faces of students is what it takes to get their attention. I believe that respect is earned. I realize that it goes both ways, however, screaming and threatening does not work. The kids shut down and resist. This is true for anyone. I thought children were in school to learn to love to learn. Where is the enthusiasm for teaching and the healthy boundary setting for poor behavior? Is it unrealistic to expect better?
