"It’s a great neighborhood to visit, and I think it would be a good place to live. Some things in the community need maintenance (some sidewalks are major tripping hazards), but other areas are well maintained. "
  • Alicia B.
"I regularly hit a few lights on my way out of town, but there’s never too much congestion. Parking can be spotty, however."
  • Trulia User
"Great neighborhood. Many conveniences. Easy walk to downtown attractions. Recently restored half-mile Garnet Douglass Baltimore walking nature trail to Prospect Park. Home to the historic Gasholder House Building and Public Market Open Area. "
  • David Anthony
"Washington Park and brownstone it’s beautiful people are friendly and it’s walking distance to the farmers market"
  • Niesreen M.
"The dog owners do not clean up after their dogs and it’s freaking disgusting especially in the winter "
  • Sam H.
"There's so much great stuff happening in the area. Lots of homes nearby are being beautifully restored and remodeled. There's so many great community organizations from Troy Bike Rescue to Capital District Community Gardens doing wonderful things to make this town a great place to live. Troy's unique history has lead to some unbelievably beautiful architecture and a wonderfully walkable city. Enjoy Troy!"
  • kesiena10
"There has been a couple of stabbings in this area, and break ins. It is not a safe area to live in. There is barely ever any parking, loud neighbors, dirty side walks. Many of the houses on the block are not taken care off, and my gosh the road would wreck your cars alignment..."
