7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been at Highlands for 4 years now. I currently have a 3rd and 1st grader. We have been very happy and especially love that the full staff (from office staff, to custodians to teachers and principal etc..) are very hands on. With the challenging year we had (this year and last) we have been incredibly happy with how quickly everyone seemed to acclimate to the new ‘normal’. I truly feel that we did not miss a beat and am quite happy with how well all of our teachers stepped up during this difficult time.Parent Review2y ago - Mt. Diablo High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school, just came there and Im an freshman. Rgeardless people are going to say this is a bad school. IT IS NOT. They are very welcoming and nice. They have JROCT, cooking, Public speaking or Debate team/class and more. MUptiple luages classes like French, Spanish and Mandorian chinnise. Tons of sports Football, basketball, tenniss and volleyball track too! The techers are pretty nice they tey to help out as much as they can just ask them. The food her is AWSOME. For kids who have food issues they let anyone and everyone get as much as they need/want they should know the limits. Bring your kid here its awsome!!!Student Review2y ago - Northgate High School

"The neighborhood is made up of modest single family houses, most of which were built in the 1940’s, but now are being spruced up by new owners. The majority of the houses and yards are small but well kept which makes them great starter homes for first time buyers. One perk of living in this neighborhood is that most of the homes are within walking distance to BART."

"I’ve lived in todos santos for 3 years. It’s such a great area for restaurants and entertainment, especially when they have farmers markets and concerts in the park. Biggest downfall is the number of homeless people sleeping and defecating on the streets. There’s also a lot of drunk people who are really loud all over the place from Thursday - Saturday nights. "

"terrible. concord to Oakland and back. unless I catch Bart, I lose an extra hour of my day each way. ridiculous! and Bart is getting too expensive with parking. I could see if they have more police force to make up for that cost, but I've been riding 13 years and still don't see more officers or ambassadors... it sucks that both options are just as bad in different ways"
