"I grew up in Bingham, and know it well. Had to move away just to get basic access to stores and shops without a half hour minimum drive. Bingham is too small for its own good. Crime is underreported, and there is not a single grocery, retail or specialty store in the town. The best it has to offer are tiny "convenience" style stores which are limited in stock and hours open. Want a drink? Shoot some pool? A nice dinner? In every case, you're looking forward to a 20 minute minimum drive to Skowhegan or further. A single drug store in town has been targeted by robbers, which doesn't reflect on the crime map of this website. This is about as small a town can be and still call itself a town. "
