Description

This move in ready home has had many renovations over the past 6 years. The metal roof and chimney for the wood stove in the basement were replaced about 6 years ago. The chimney is like new because we do not allow renters to burn wood. The oil furnace is about 2 years old, and the hot water heater was put in 2024.
The main floor has a full bathroom, eat in kitchen with laundry nook, living room and a large room used as the 4th bedroom. Upstairs has 3 large bedrooms. The front bedroom has new windows. The headboard is blocking a doorway between the bedrooms and can be removed if the buyer prefers. The back bedroom opens to a large unfinished room. The bathroom has a unique small tub/shower combo. The shower head is lower than usual, but perfect for children. All of the second floor has been painted over the past year, and the hallway floor has been replaced.
The large 2 bay garage has 3 floors. The exterior has been freshly painted. The rear windows were replaced a couple years ago when the owner built a chicken coop (which was never used).
There is a covered porch and a covered back patio/carport that is perfect for grilling. All appliances are included in the sale. If the buyer would like, most of the large furniture such as the beds, couch and kitchen table are also included.
This large home is located on a dead-end road in a neighborhood with lots of kids.

"I grew up in Bingham, and know it well. Had to move away just to get basic access to stores and shops without a half hour minimum drive. Bingham is too small for its own good. Crime is underreported, and there is not a single grocery, retail or specialty store in the town. The best it has to offer are tiny "convenience" style stores which are limited in stock and hours open. Want a drink? Shoot some pool? A nice dinner? In every case, you're looking forward to a 20 minute minimum drive to Skowhegan or further. A single drug store in town has been targeted by robbers, which doesn't reflect on the crime map of this website. This is about as small a town can be and still call itself a town. "
