3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCarmanainsworth middle school is a joke. My kid was getting bullied there nothing was getting done about it. I just got fed up with the school not caring about my kid and my kid voice wasn't being herd. With all this said it was so bad to the point that it was effecting my kods education and her grades drop it was also effecting her mental health. I will say that Mrs doughty is one amazing teacher that truly cares about all her students.Parent Review3y ago8 Reviews - Dye Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have three students at Dye, our family has been here for the past 5 years. My oldest started in developmental kindergarten and is now in fourth grade, I also have a third and second grade student. One receives special education and that entire department is very helpful addressing my child’s needs. They all have amazing teachers. The school provides extracurricular activities for the kids and a lot of family nights. I’m happy my kids are Dye Bulldogs.Parent Review1y ago5 Reviews - Gladys Dillon Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDillon is a warm and inviting school with teachers and staff who care deeply about their students. They understand that each student has different needs and learns differently - classrooms are flexible and teachers are able to meet the needs of their students in unique ways. You won't find a better group of teachers - or students for that matter! - anywhere else in the district!Other Review7y ago13 Reviews - Randels Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy grandson went there for first grade abd between his home room, his art teacher, and his reading teacher they couldn't tell he needed glasses.During the 3rd report card period i told his homeroom teacher she didn't believe me.He finally took a school eye test as well as one from Walmart and he couldn't see anything. That was why he was acting up in school he felt stupid. Also there are 2 dogs roaming the halls like they are students. No leases or anything. The principal lied and said no dogs were there but i knew she was lying because my niece and nephew previously went there. Why would a student that was allergic to the dogs have to leave the school, why not the dogs.Randel us the only school in the carmen Ainsworth district that has dogs. The school is prejudice too even thou' the majority of students is african american.Other Review9y ago3 Reviews - Rankin Elementary School

"The city of Flint is slowly making improvements for the community but there is lack of funding to boost the amount and quality of improvements. This area has accessible public transportation and a variety of stores and restaurants."

"I feel the police presence is needed more but other than that it’s an OK neighborhood . The younger generation use the streets as a race track with no concern of the kids that are on the block for that reason I feel the police presence is needed more but other than that the street lights and well lit I don’t feel too much danger because I know the neighbors in this neighborhood"

"Do not live in Flint, Mi. It’s a mess and no good to raise a family here. To much crime as well. Schools have been closed down and the schools that are open are way over crowded. Schools are behind in curriculum. "
