"I work from home these days, but there is really quick access to 440, and you can be in downtown Raleigh on 10 minutes from our location. There is also greenway access not far from the neighborhood. "
  • Trulia User
"this is just a transition place for me ......... its quiet but it's close to a sanitation center, so it smells often "
  • Damica H.

  • Michael C.
"It’s a developing neighborhood, surrounded by many historic areas of Raleigh. The neighbors are friendly and its convenience to downtown without actually having to live downtown is very nice. "
  • Pat
"Great location near downtown Near major Hospital. Easy to get anywhere near the beltline. Near major parks and bus stops.Friendly people that walk their dogs. Only problem is the noise from the hospital and high school band during football season. "
  • Tom F.
"reasonable but slow at peak traffic hours. otherwise it's easy to get around Raleigh from here. I go back and forth to the airport and most mornings it's 30 min or less. "
  • Shaquinaroscoe2
"I like this neighborhood it’s really quiet and he has nice people and they presented the backyard to be a little bit better but I guess it’ll do"
  • Marianne C. M.
"Hip and desirable neighborhood with lots of gardens and young families, and only a 3-minute drive to downtown. Lots of gardens and backyard chickens."
  • losslanach
"I've lived here for over 10 years. I suggest that you pick and a residence based on the particular intersection, but overall it's not a bad place to dwell. It's quiet and most people are either from NC or have lived here for a long time. There's a low percentage of renters and the neighborhood is diverse in a good way. This is a good place for families with kids or older couples to live. There are not restaurants or shopping plazas worth visiting in the area--go downtown for those. There's a great greenway nearby!"
  • Homeowner919
"You can't beat this part of Raleigh. Two minutes from downtown, Wade Ave, the Belitline, and 40? It's the best place to be for getting anywhere and you're close to what other people wish they were. We have a family of 4 and the parks are better equipped than others in Raleigh, the homes are affordable, and you can actually get to know everyone in the area around you because they are all out on the weekends in their yards with their families and dogs. It's a great area for everyone basically. Can't recommend it highly enough. I think it will be the next hot spot inside the Beltline once people catch on to the value and how much better the traffic and commute situation is from here versus some more popular areas. Did I mention the lots are large and have garages. No street parking all over the place like some of the rabbit warren areas near downtown."
