5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent that has one child in preschool and one in kindergarten I have to say Eastwood is one of the overlooked gems in this area. I open enroll my kids from Amherst because the staff at Eastwood is so strong. Fantastic school.Parent Review10y ago - Oberlin High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOberlin High School is an amazing place. They have so many offerings given its small size. There are interesting electives, an amazing art program and some truly wonderful teachers and staff. Is it perfect, no. But no school is. I am very happy with the education my children have received at OHS and I the diversity (both socioeconomically as well as racially) of the student body is a wonderful asset. These young people grow up together and truly learn from each other. There are wonderful after-school activities and sports as well.Parent Review3y ago - Langston Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my second year going here, and I am not sure that I would send my kids here, if I ever have any. Constant bullying to kids who are the most vulnerable, which I do find disgusting. But the root of the problem does not lie in the hands of the students, but instead in the hands of those teaching those students. Now, I am not saying that every teacher there is to blame, in fact many of them are amazing. What I am saying is that educators that don’t give 100% and more aren’t doing their job. Anyone that wants to work at a school or does work at a school should know this. I think the fault lies in the hands of the principal, Ms. Hicks. The principal is so-not-devoted to this school that it is sickening. Should she be fired? That’s for her and higher authorities to decide, but that does not stop me from saying yes, she most definitely should be fired. The first day I came here I was so scared of the principal. But I STILL AM. I want to let anyone who reads this know that this school is not good for your kids and not good for teachers that work here. So many teachers have left because of the principal. Which is so sad because I remember some of the greatest teachers I have ever been taught by being here. But they don’t work here anymore. Many current teachers don’t like Ms. Hicks either. So sad that a city so nice could have such a depressing school inside of it. Choose somewhere else, parents and guardians. This way your kids won’t come home saying, “I hate school” or anything else.Student Review1y ago - Prospect Elementary School

"I've lived in Oberlin for 30 years. It's a wonderful small town. Great for raising a family. There are lots of kid activities, restaurants are good, and walking or bike riding distance. Splash Zone is near by with a lovely workout room, and winter or summer swimming. Wouldn't trade it for the world!"
