5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI normally don’t like leaving bad reviews, but parents really deserve a heads up about Greenway Middle School. One of the biggest issues here is how they handle students being late. If your kid is even a little late, they automatically get lunch detention or after-school detention. And if you’re a working parent or don’t have a car, this becomes a huge problem. They don’t provide a late bus unless there’s an after-school program, sport, or some event happening that day. So if there’s no activity, your kid is basically stuck and you’re expected to drop everything and go pick them up.It feels like the school is more focused on punishing kids than actually helping them succeed. Instead of trying to understand why a student might be late, they just hand out detentions like it’s nothing. For families who rely on the bus or have inconsistent transportation, it’s honestly unfair and stressful. I really hope they rethink these policies, because right now Greenway is not doing parents or students any favors.Parent Review5mo ago4 Reviews - North Canyon High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has really took a turn since the new principal has came, my kids tell me about the new improvements made. Teachers are engaging a lot more with the no cellphone law! My kid that’s a special education student got proficient on his reading pre act which is a major improvement for him!Parent Review5mo ago22 Reviews - Echo Mountain Primary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe amount of fights I have heard about are unbelievable. The fact that this school brushes bullying off like it's some excuse is awful. I seen so many kids get harmed from just attending to this school. Ever since I seen my child go to this school, they have been less engaged and they are now having eating problems because they are too stressed about being perfect just so they could meet the level that the teachers want them to be. They treat them horribly. An another reason why this school is terrible, is that ever since my kid transferred here, they started throwing up almost daily from the lunches here.Other Review2mo ago16 Reviews - Echo Mountain Intermediate School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStudent drop off is a joke. One of office staff is so rude I can t believe she still has a job. The front office staff is in charge of the kids that get sent to the principal. I ve witnessed a child standing up instead of sitting down. Who knows how long he was made to stand. The make your day program is teaching the kids to be tattle tails. If a student says a kid has done something then the kid gets into trouble for it, no matter if staff saw or heard what happened. I watched a teacher embarrass a student. Student was almost in tears. The parent had to take the child to a counselor due to the situation and bearing the $$. The lunch lady is rude and even ruder to the kids. She is known for making snide comments. One morning dropping my child off in the parking lot, a teacher read me the riot act. She acted like a lunatic. This was done in front of my kid. She told me I couldn t use the parking lot. Funny part is that there s spots for parents to park in the lot. I ve watched her with her students and she s not very kind at all. The AIMS scores are just above 50% passing. I chalk it up to bad teaching and low morale of the students. I wouldn t send my dog to Echo Mountain.Parent Review11y ago8 Reviews - Check out schools near 2150 E Bell rd.

"Nestled between Phoenix and Scottsdale, both cities sort of surround Paradise Valley. Still has individual homes with different size properties versus the pop up communities that all look exactly the same as every other neighbor in said community. "
