Forsyth High Schhool has now gone to all computers with no books at all. Parents are now required to pay yearly fees for their children to have the required laptops and if something breaks, Parents must shell out more money, a total of $500 if it needs to be replaced entirely. They cover repairs that they deem to be caused by everyday ware and tare, but that doesn't seem to be very much. If your child has to go without a laptop for a few days while it's being repaired they simply must suffer without it, which means they may not be able to complete their homework on time and be penalized. Internet at home is also essential if your child wants to pass their classes, so low income families are forced into buying something that isn't a necessity because the school has made it one. There is a McDonalds in town where kids can use internet, but then that also costs gas. It's also the main hang out for kids after school, so it's not a very good place to try to concentrate on homework. They've provided next to no resources to parents, making it very difficult to help your child at home. I believe they've taken a very lazy approach to their teaching methods and I am not happy about it.

they have rules in place that will protect bullying and punish good students for defending themselves when attacked.Both students are punished the same way.Even the student that is assaulted first.Even after several attempts to reason with them they will still punish the student that was assaulted.Other than that the school is clean and the people are nice. But some of the rules are are unjust and need attention!
