"20 min to work and 15-20 to a grocery story thatโ€™s a big chain. "
  • Angie
"Easy access to the highways and public transportation is available if necessary. Still small town so itโ€™s easy to get anywhere "
  • Fox Star
"Donโ€™t move here for the schools, youโ€™ll be disappointed. Move here for the community or access to I-5. Neighborhoods require HOA fees so the city doesnโ€™t have to maintain parks or build sidewalks. We have lots of growing pains."
  • Trece
"Big Paddle kayak festival, music in park, color run, dragon boat races, 4th of July Parade, farmers markets, wednesday small business days, festival city day"
  • Trulia User

  • Julie_pdx
"Welcoming community Great neighborhood Excellent school district Growing very quickly Good religious options"
  • Lawrencecozma
"For the most part everyone picks up after their dogs in this neighborhood. There are a few areas though where people keep their dogs in the yard ALL THE TIME and the dogs nonstop bark at you as you walk by with your own dog. "
  • Dawnel H.
"Movies at the park, kids craft day on tusdays in the summer, 4th of july parade, birdfest, octoberfest, christmas bazaar, santa(photos), halloween trick-or-treat the stores downtown, culturalfest, mayfest, and so much more to list. quilt group, friends of the library. this town is amazing when it comes to activities."
  • Sandy
"We have fundraisers for our community library. we have a large 4th of July parade, and a huge Halloween town."
  • Dawnel H.
"All the festivities that are in ridgefield down town, the movies at the park with petting zoo, tuesday kids fun day. 4th of july parade, bird fest, christmas bazaar and pictures with santa, farmer market on saturday and so much more going on to list in the town. "
  • Chelse
"nothing this place is a joke there is absolutely nothing here you have to drive to vancouver or woodland for anything. . "
  • Cathy C
"We have been living here for 6 months visiting my husband's sister. like the convenience to downtown. No complaints."
  • Andria
"My neighborhood is great for kids and families, people overall are pretty nice. Nice decent parks and walking trails!"
  • Andriaavgerinos
"Everything! Playing outside, farmers market, small downtown, festivals! Very friendly and welcoming neighbors "
  • Liz M.
"Our family made Ridgefield our home close to five years ago. It is a friendly little town, that is growing VERY fast! Some big changes and improvements (hopefully) should make this wonderful place even better! "
  • Liz M.
"We have lived in Ridgefield for 5yrs. We love it here! Everyone is friendly and our neighborhood is clean and we'll taken care of. "
  • BARO
"Rated the 4th safest place to live in Washington. If you live in the downtown area, many amenities are within a five minute walk. Two markets, liquor store, hardware store, restaurants, cafe, bank, yoga, police, fire, wine tasting, flowers, auto mechanic etc. People are very friendly in Ridgefield and the schools are highly rated. The town is very family oriented, puts on a lot of family day type events and is locally famous for it's Fourth of July celebration. There is not much for teens to do aside from the small skate park, but hopefully that will change soon. You get a sense living here that there is pride in this community, and although occasionally someone will come along and try to disrupt the serenity, they don't stick around long. Now, if they would just change the high school mascot, it's be almost perfect."
  • lickity
"I'm never moving... I just love it here. The clean air, the friendly people... This place is amaze-Balls"
  • Wedmoreconsulting
"Super nice area with the best schools in Washington. Small town with a big smile. you are welcomed and feel special when you live in Ridgefield."
  • Matthewwellnitz
"I feel extremely safe, for we have more local and state police officers as neighbors than any other location I have ever encountered. Deer walk down the street in mid day, being so close to the Wild Life Refuge."
