10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe reviews of the school are good because of the demographics. It is a super rich area where parents who are immigrants of hard working cultures support their students through OUTSIDE institutions and such. The school looks like it was built with the cheapest materials nearby. The teachers are racist, have favorites, have mood swings all the time, are terrible at their jobs, etc. etc. The counselors and admin are terrible. All of the learning happens at home, and school is just a 7 hour waste of time.Student Review1mo ago20 Reviews - South Forsyth Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageto be honest the school is really depending on if your okay with harsh and weird rules and people. there isnt much concern on indirect bullying or teasing which just leaves everyone for themselves, i tbh got lot of mental issues after being with the people. the teachers are okay just depending on who you have some actually do teach but others are biased to some students or have no empathy. the new principal has brought alot of terms which many students are unhappy with such as the dress code which doesnt even allow you to show the BAND of your waistline, some teacher are calm about it but the higher ups and older gen is horrible. you cannot wear off the shoulder without being constantly scared of being harassed by boy students. the teachers do not care if a guy is the one harrassing us but more so that the girl is wearing something she feels pretty in. the old principle in 7th and 6th grade in my time was much better about this. she changed the boys to focus on the right things instead or harrassing the girls, this year all has been lost to complete blame of the females. another thing is the amount of medicl emergency’s in this school and most of the time the teacher doesnt even care or notice the kid leaving them in distress causing a worse injury. all in all some teachers have been amazing kind and really do try to connect whereas other do not care about saftey teaching and honestly have no passion. it relly depends on your personality if your tough enough to go through it.Student Review1y ago7 Reviews - Sharon Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son just graduated from Sharon elementary and I have nothing but great things to say about the school. Academics are top notch. Just look at the test scores. We loved his teachers. They are warm, organized, thoughtful, fun. My son's least favorite class is ELA, but he said to me all year "At least my teacher makes it really fun!". That says a lot right there coming straight from the mouth of a student.Parent Review2y ago17 Reviews - Check out schools near 2115 Chloe Rd.

"Winter, spring, and fall are great! As mentioned, summers are miserable but I believe a person adapts to it over a period of years. By summer, I mean the period of June-August. By September it begins to cool down and your life is adjusted to a hot climate anyway. If you have a pool you will use it! Moved here from California so traffic is never a problem relative to that mess. And cost of living is much much cheaper. Overall, Georgia, especially Forsyth County, is a great place to live."

"Long distance from neighborhood to interstate. Even further to get to attractions/event. And traffic on the highway in the evening has become extremely heavy and going south in the am on the Main Street to the highway is heavily traveled."

"Great schools, shopping and family friendly environments. The roads need restructured but lots of grocery stores and public libraries. Garage sales are common all around. Neighbors are generally Fri fly and the county continues to grow. Taxes are relatively in middle class "

"I lived in the Polo Fields for 14 years, leaving GA six years after retiring. I found that neighbors here were snobs, too busy to become friendly with neighbors. Being from WI, I found this disturbing. The climate is great for winter and fall, but horridly humid during summers. This part of GA is victim to rainfall in the small watershed of the Chattahoochie River so that water availability for maintaining landscapes is fickle. Taxes in Forsyth County are low, especially for real estate. The Forsyth County School system is pretty good. I left to return to WI, finding a great neighborhood and very friendly people and cold winter weather---so be it. GA and Forsyth County were a great experience if you can live with the awful commutes in North Georgia and humid summers."
