I’ve had a very terrible experience at this school. Was treated very unfairly and feelings were disregarded. So happy this is my child’s last yr here. And legal action would be taken

Buns shool and yeahs that it’s not the best thing for the planet but it will make it worth the effort and the money it will make you feel better and you can get it done and I don’t care

I was once a student at Lyons Elementary, and now I have children attending the school. Unfortunately, the environment does not feel the same as it once did.I’ve noticed what seems to be a very passive approach from the current principal, Ms. Arocha, when it comes to addressing concerns such as bullying and staff conduct. There have also been ongoing issues with certain non-teaching staff overstepping their roles, concerns about inappropriate behavior on school grounds, and situations involving parking and crossing guard enforcement that feel excessive and unprofessional.As a parent and former student, I simply want to see the school provide a safer, more structured, and more supportive environment for the children and families in the community

This is the worst school lansing has. I do not recommend.

This school is actually hell on earth, it’s not safe, it’s chaotic and the students are absolutely horrendous.

Total chaos. Parents don't get notified when field trips go an hour over the time they are supposed to. Awful experience.

The school is kindergarten through eighth grade. Most of the students have to eat lunch in their class rather than cafeteria. They are denied recess because test scores are so low. The teachers and principal do not know how to work with children, and would rather suspend them for multiple days instead of redirecting them. The school is infested with mice. The majority of the staff are rude and unprofessional. I would highly recommend not sending your children to this school unless changes are made!!
