8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is completing 8th grade. The campus and overall experience is positive. I can only speak to our experience. And to be frank, my daughter is socially adjusted and in Honors classes. So this is our experience. Pros:- school prepares children for critical thinking- school is safe and has solid safety protocols- Coaches are dedicated and positive- Modern and well appointed campus/ facility- My daughter has “loved” a handful of teachers and likes most of them- Great Electives options- Students are well-acclimated and seem to have options for activities, friend groups, etc. Cons:- a few teachers do not act in a professional manner (rude or degrading) - seemed to concentrate in 6th grade staff. One math teacher is especially rude and seems to enjoy embarrassing students. - Some teachers exhibit unprofessional behavior: disorganized, reference their religion excessively, overbearing application of dress code (e.g. following students into other teacher’s classes and causing disruptions). As with everything in life- you get out what you put in. And a school is not a replacement for parental involvement or personal dedication of the students. To parents complaining about sports programs- the school programs are competitive and select students accordingly. In Track, not all students participate in Meets, but are on the team. That’s more inclusive than many schools.Parent Review11mo ago7 Reviews - Cibolo Creek Elementary School

Awesome teachers each year, involved administration, excellent resources and long-term friendships for my son. "Safe. Family friendly. Great schools. Scenic. Quiet. Peaceful. Friendly. Does lack diversity of cultures though but I hope that changes now that more people are moving to Boerne. Traffic on I-10 is difficult most days but the frontage and back roads are always good alternatives. "

"I have lived here outside of Bulverde and Boerne,Tx. for over 23 yrs.. People own acres here vs close neighbors like the city. however, we know each other and are kind and helpful should you ever need them. Activities are planned including an occasional farmers market and we are close to GUADALUPE national park so there is kayaking, etc. opportunities. "

"I've lived in this neighborhood for ten years. It's very friendly with a few annual events, including a Halloween potluck + a trick-or-treating hayride for the kids, and a big Christmas party/potluck for the adults. The 1.5 mile cul-de-sac is hilly and curvy and quite scenic. You can hand-feed the deer from your car in some areas. You can do a safe but challenging 5-mile run by doing the entire road plus all the side streets."

"They would enjoy walking their dogs in a small, quiet neighborhood away from even the minor hustle and bustle of Boerne proper, along with the ability to take their dogs down to the river and swim around a bit in our private neighborhood park with river access."

"I see people walking dogs all during the day,and never see dogs running loose. I hardly ever hear barking dogs, even at night."

"Your dog always has to be on a leash there's no free reign to have them walk next to you. It's not as much fun."
