  • Trulia User
"I’ve lived here a year and am eager to leave. There is not a sense of community. Dogs are not cleaned up after. Often see domestic arguments happening in the streets. Not at all a nice area. "
  • Trulia User

  • Trulia User
"My neighbors are very friendly. I can walk my dog and see many other neighbors walking theirs and we often stop to chat. I also love to run into my neighbors at the Mall or the Village. One of the things I love about our neighborhood is that we have a strong Neighborhood Watch program with a proactive captain always looking out for us and keeping us informed. "

"Average but I work 3 miles away from work, otherwise it would take me no less than 30 minutes even more if it’s close to LA."
  • Shetyerakesh
"I have lived this neighborhood for 10 years and there is everything a family needs to be happy. It has malls grocery stores in convenient reach along with quick access to freeways and beaches"
  • Dinabarso73
"People are out walking dogs all the time. Great dog park near by and another great park for walking nearby"
  • Marlene O.
"The bike paths the go thru the area and into Warner Center are outstanding for bicycle enthusiasts. The neighborhood is nestled between trendy Warner Center on one side and upper middle class West Hills on the other and Chatsworth is also close by with one of the most expansive hiking trails, baseball diamonds and meandering horse trails if that's your thing. Just like everywhere else there is the homeless element that spills into the area... However, the homeless are people too and for the most part are the older children of once well to do parents whom have either passed away or moved leaving their teenagers on the street to fend for themselves. There are no problems here that couldnt be solved through better, more caring parenting instead of those "parents" acting more like pet owners who adopt puppies but grow tired of them when they're no longer cute and tie them up in their back yard to live out the rest of their live alone and forgotten. if people would just rise to the challenges they've created for themselves and at least pretend to care long enough for those children to develop a sense of self worth and respon"
  • Kelli
"We have a farmers market on Saturdays. There are fun family events like the carnivals and "taste of" where restaurants come out and allow you to sample their foods. "
  • Alea B.
"no they would not want here. no food park and enough space to walk. too many homeless and fast drivers racing"
  • Kelli
"depends on where youre going, what time you have to get there and what time you leave. traffic is up and down and busy during rush hour. "
  • Rexell11
"Bad neighborhood, too crowded a hard to find parking specially at night dirty street and dogs poop are eVery where cant wait to move out in this neighborhood "
  • Robert D.
"Travel to Orange and Downtown LA mostly so the commute is pretty long. Trips to the beaches aren’t too bad and traffic clears up once you get outside the valley "
  • Ricacha39
"My neighborhood has a police station nearby and a orange line public transportation and a college and a mall "
  • Angela I.
"I own 3 dogs & It’s a very friendly dog area. Most of the apartment communities accept pets. Lots of pet stores & vets in the area as well. "
  • Robert D.
"Commute south is rough. The valley traffic is bad in general but being up in woodland hill makes going south challenging "
  • Taniaradtech
"it's probably the second or 3rd least expensive neighborhood if you need something cheap there is alot of good places to eat and the best Vallarta market ever on topanga and Roscoe plus the police station is right here to keep you safe "
  • Japhilod
"Near big malls, theaters, supermarket, restaurants, home improvement stores, and quiet friendly community. "
  • Lesviamartinez .

  • Daniellesallee
"I have a dog and don’t really have any thing to say positive or negative. I walk her 3-4 times a day. For the most part every body seems to pick up after their dogs. There isn’t a whole lot of grass around just a few little stretches, but enough. "
