About this House

This is an updated three bedroom townhouse across the street from Oakwood park on East 31st St. in Lorain. Big kitchen. There are blinds throughout. Washer and dryer hookups in the basement. Does include stove and refrigerator. Plenty of parking in the back. Tenant pays gas and electric. NO pets. Section 8 OK!

Screening:

-We charge $65 per person over the age of 18 which covers our cost for completing the screening process.
-We screen using credit, background and eviction checks as well as income verification and rental history.
-Please include in the application your last 3 pay stubs and your Photo ID
-If interested, please apply. We look for ways to approve tenants. Many tenants who did not think they qualify do.

Maintenance: Many people ask whether they can do work to a property. Walnut Creek has their own maintenance department and we do make sure the properties we manage are safe homes to live in. However, to protect our owners, we do not allow tenants to make changes or repairs to the property, including painting. If you have a maintenance request, you are able to make those requests using your tenant portal.

Neighborhood: Many times, people will ask what a specific neighborhood or area is like. We cannot easily answer that question because everyone has a different opinion on that. Our suggestion is to drive by a property at several different times of the day and you will get a very realistic feel for what you can expect when you live at this property. You may also call the local police departments for more detail about any crime in the area.

This property could be rented any day and we rent on a first come first served basis.

We love to bring happiness to the people in our community and that is the best way we do it and the neighborhood loves it. We even have people that have been told and come from out of town to check it out."

    "If you want to live in a community where your neighbors are more like family, and your children will have an endless supply of friends to play with, then Deerfield is the place. We've lived here for 5 years and love it. Everyone is kind and inviting. The only downside is the gun range, which is not moving any time soon. But honestly, after 5 years, we hardly notice the noise. But the nature and people surrounding us make up for it."

Lorain has lots to offer like the boardwalk, the Palace theatre, and the International Fest in addition to being close to things like Cedar Point, Cleveland, and tons of shopping"
