Excellence is celebrated regardless of where you come from. Teachers interact with us like their own children. I am a 9th grader and can say I absolutely enjoy school. 1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI just was awarded section 8. I was so excited. I wanted to move out of Newark. Then I received a letter from Malcolm Shabazz stating that my son was one of 6 students in Newark district schools that was awarded a scholarship to Lincoln Tech. All expenses paid. Malcolm Shabazz also informed us that not only will he be graduating next year with honors from there but also Lincoln Tech. They informed us upon graduating in would receive an additional scholarship for 85,000, to further his education. My son was and is so excited. So as for me moving out of Newark, not happening now. My son's dreams have to come first. Thank you Malcolm Shabazz for caring so much about my child and his future!Parent Review2y ago4 Reviews - Weequahic High School
