7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is de definition of them not caring about the students teaching and more about how they are as them getting into trouble, they tried to be “strict” but that doesn’t help the fact that they have new teachers that don’t know what are doing and more of putting work as “teaching” the woodlands compare to this doesn’t compare if I had to let my kid graduate in this school I wouldn’t.Parent Review9mo ago9 Reviews - Vogel Intermediate School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am sad to write a review such as this, but it needs to be said. I am highly disappointed in this school, my student that goes here is half Korean and half White. It is sad the discrimination that he has faced at this school and the lack of responsibility taken by the school. Multiple times students have called him a dog-eater, a ching-chong, and other discriminatory terms. After facing this inappropriate behavior, he did as any student would have done- reported it to his teacher. Any student should feel as if they can go to their teacher if they have any issues and not be dismissed. But unfortunately, this was not the case. After the teacher was informed, she didn't do anything on her part, she didn't report it to the counselor or any of the administrative staff. The kids faced no consequences for their actions and therefore, the harassment continued. And even despite reporting it multiple times to his teacher, she still did nothing. It got to the point where he felt as if he had no other option but to take care of it himself, while we do not condone him pushing the bully down to the ground, we feel as if this could've been avoided if the teacher had done her part. He also is supposed to receive accommodations on his assessments, but on his STAAR test, he received NONE of his accommodations. We have already reported both of these instances to the school, but I am still highly disappointed in this school.Other Review1mo ago11 Reviews - Houser Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSince 2006 I have had 4 children come through Houser Elementary. In these past 9 years, we have experienced nothing but the absolute best of everything. I have spent countless hours within the walls of this school. I have been a parent volunteer, a PTO member & a part-time paraprofessional substitute. All of my children have loved it there and so have I. We have had the most amazing teachers, staff and administrators who have been incredible partners in their educational journey. They have laid a strong foundation on which my children can continue to build, grow and learn. Houser has always fostered a fun, safe and caring learning environment. Communication is always open and clear. They are always responsive to our needs. I know with certainty that my children are safe and cared for. Houser has been so much more than a school. They have become family. This year is especially bittersweet as this is the last year for us to have a Houser Hawk. We are thankful for exceptional office staff, administrators, teachers at every grade level & specialty, custodial and cafeteria staff, and the very best coaches, librarian, technology, music & art teachers. I’m really looking forward to my students returning before graduation to walk those halls one last time. Thank you Houser for being such an important & impactful part of our lives.Parent Review1y ago10 Reviews - Irons Junior High School

"Unfortunately, there are no sidewalks in Northampton. When people need to park in the street, it can be a challenge to walk more than one dog at a time. "

"My neighborhood is in The woodlands, TX which is a popular planned Township in Texas, just north of Houston [filled with music venues, restaurants, events, etc]. The Woodlands is home to the Mitchell Woods Pavilion that hosts a multitude of concerts and events."

"Have lived in this neighborhood for 25 years. Many changes have taken place. We watched it transition from a newer suburb to a maturing neighborhood. Although the area is much more busy, it remains a pocket of neighborhood life with the many top notch amenities of an urbanized community within a short drive."

"Nice neighborhood Kids play around during the holidays and on weekends. Neighbors are very friendly and helpful. Everyone drives carefully and slow to watch out for kids and pets. The street lights are sometimes not maintained well by the utility companies.Other than that everything is really cool and safe."
