This school is not as great as most people say teachers are not Involved and do little to motivate students just threaten with school punishment Principle is In trustworthy and has a demand for respect that seems a bit uneasy not many teachers really show that they care and Its just a school filled with lies students won't feel they "fit in" unless they flow one way and there isn't much diversity

I feel like Kelly Lane doesn't do a lot with mental care and that's what I need the most, I've always begged my mom to homeschool me and I know she's too busy for that but she doesn't understand how hard this school is on me. My teachers try but I have one teacher who has accused me of stealing something and always puts missing when it's turned in and she knows it, also I have experienced a lot of racism here from students and when I reported them to our counselor she kind of just gave him a punishment and he is often still being racist to this day. I feel like they could do better.

I've had one child start in the 4th grade as a transfer from another state with their younger sibling joining 1st. My oldest has moved onto middle school and my youngest is now in 4th grade. In the time that we've had our children there, we have had positive experiences. Of course, there was an adjustment period since we were from out of state, but our kids became more confident and the staff we interact with are kind and caring. The teachers have always communicated without hesitation if there were any concerns before anything could ever escalate. The nurse's office calls immediately if a child gets hurt. Dearing has plenty of activities and events to involve families and its just been a pleasure. I think they could probably use some support for children who need extra attention in the behavior department, but overall the experience has been good.
