1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible school system. My child is constantly getting hurt and picked on, has learned nothing since she transferred from the Albuquerque school district, and will now be behind should she transfer back to Albuquerque in the future. There is absolutely no parent involvement, and her teacher, while nice, I feel is not doing a good job.Parent Review13y ago1 Reviews - Estancia High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a great Middle School! The teachers are very caring. My child is treatied like person, not a number. The staff cares about each individual student. Thank you!Parent Review16y ago1 Reviews - Upper Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is always getting hurt and picked on, all concerns have been voiced to the school, yet no corrective action has been implemented. In addition the class curriculum appears to be at least a year behind the rest of the state, which is already atrocious. I highly discourage moving to this district or enrolling in any grade level.Parent Review13y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near 209 County Rd.

"This area of Meadowlake is easily the nicest and the best neighborhood in Meadowlake it has really awesome people that live here who look out for each other and who will always wave good morning to you. And there's still some kids playing around the neighborhood like kids used too. Every single one of the bus stops for each grade level is off Buena Vista and Cereza so you can choose to have your kid be a little bit earlier or a little bit later depending on all the different bus stops you can choose from elementary all the way to high school. The sun bus also runs in this area regularly. The privacy is amazing and the space is even better in this area. Stunning starlet skies at night that you would never be able to see in the city but also close enough to go back and forth to Albuquerque in less than an hour. Fresh air and peace and quiet. I lived here for over 10 years and never once dealt with any crime, vandalism or burglary. Genuinely great area and you can't beat the mortgage prices they are less than most studio apartments anywhere."

"This is an okay area schools aren’t very great, and there’s not that much to do around here also. Not to mention the crime rate around here is rising and there have been a couple break ins around the area too. "

"It’s 2 miles to the nearest store. And 7 to town. A car is a must. Unless you want to run a marathon. It would be good exercise. And a great view of the mountains. "

"I've lived in Los Lunas for close to 40 years and plan to remain in this area for the rest of my life. I like the small town feel (even though it's grown a lot) and the friendly people. It's a good place to live!"

"there are a lot of loose dogs despite every yard being fenced. there are places where you can walk with your dogs off leash. many people dump dogs in the area and east of here on the mesa"

"there are no social events that make the neighborhood special. people generally mind their own business. every property is fenced, most people have large dogs, or livestock, or both. my neighborhood has a lot of property crime and drugs"
