3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis school is absolute TRASH. there are fights all the time, people smoking in the bathrooms, and this school has the lowest test scores out of all the leon county school middle schools. there are bullys every corner you turn to and if you try to stop it they just fight you and jump you. do NOT send your child here. sending your child here is basically risking their LIVES. this school lowers their mental health by a ton and it could even end in a attempt. the school does NOT care. and their dress code is trash, you cant wear headphones in hallways which is dumb and girls always get the worst dress code for no reason. and the staff have no respect. my friend and me were sitting in lunch and a staff came up and yelled at her for showing half of her shoulder. this school is the worst school to send your children to school. please look into other places and send them their. cobb is NOT where you want your children to go. trust me. you can ask anyone there. its true. if i could give 0 stars i absolutely would.Student Review2mo ago - James Rickards High School

They don't teach you much of anything and the teachers will let the kids do mainly what they want, there's probably a fight every day, and the school has 1400 kids inside of it with like 10 admin which barely give you suspension for the fights and I don't know how many times I heard of guns getting pulled out.Parent Review1y ago - Bond Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am very dissatisfied with the lack of disciplinary actions taken upon the students that are constantly bullying other students. My child is an exceptional all "A" student that has constantly been bullied for the past two yrs. I've discussed this matter with administration and instructors at this school and no discipline is being administered to the bullies! When the kids that are being bullied take the appropriate measures by informing the administration/instructors nothing is being done, therefore when the victims are backed into a corner and left to result to their own actions, they are the ones being disciplined and not the bullies. I have constantly dealt with this situation over and over again,therefore my alternative is to make a formal complaint to the local newspaper to get this matter addressed! I will not advise anyone to enroll their kids in this school. "It's a great road to live on because you are close to every thing within a few minutes or miles. There is bus service up and down it. But it is a major thoroughfare to Rickards HS and Orange Ave. Constant sometimes loud traffic and people walking home from school. It depends on which part of it you live. Frequent visitors to door asking for work or selling something. A bit too busy to raise your kids on or play with dogs in your front yard if you ask me. But great if you're on the go and need to be conveniently located."
