The bedroom is located in a large contemporary 5 bedrooms home with fireplace, washer and dryer, and all kitchen appliances. The exterior of the house was painted last year, interior house common areas is partially furnished (common area recently carpeted). Xfinity superfast Wi-Fi throughout the whole house. Large backyard with patio set. Gardener comes every week and is included in rent. The house has new A/C and central heat. The cul-de-sac has plenty of street parking. No pets. 2 miles away from Pleasant Hill Bart. Very close to grocery shopping (including Trader Joes), coffee shops, exercise facilities, walking & bike trails & the popular Walnut Creek downtown shopping.

Current occupants...
Are in various industries throughout the Bay Area. They are reasonably outgoing and pretty laid-back and are looking for someone else with a compatible personality to share this house with.

Best fit...
Working full-time, non-smoking, mature, clean, respectful, and dependable. Must enjoy a clean-living environment (i.e. clean up after yourself, do not smoke in the house, and other common-sense standards). There will be a background check completed as part of the application (credit, references etc.). Proof of employment and previous place of residence. Bottom-line: No smoking, no drugs, no partying, no pets, no working from home in the common areas and no overnight guests.

    " Work construction, but it’s the best of all the different areas so I’m close to San Francisco Oakland San Jose‘s an hour so it’s pretty good 20 minutes to Berkeley but the drive home is usually a little rough, but where I live in Concord is not too bad cause it’s a quick exit after you go through the interchange. I moved to Concord because I didn’t want to live in Antioch, clear Brentwood, where the commute is horrible."

    "The buses in the area all lead to the BART Station which is very convenient. Also, there is plenty of parking at the BART Station in the mornings. If you commute, you don’t want to arrive later than 7:40am for parking. Anytime after that you may not find anything. "

Being parents with children in private, public, and chartered we are completely grateful for the teachers and faculties in the schools of Concord. Children with Parents that are not involved will definitely struggle. The community parks are very safe and are always used by residents in thier respectable neighborhoods. "
