"This neighborhood is my village! I can’t imagine life without them ❤️❤️ The moms in our neighborhood all work together. There are tons of kids, and they run the neighborhood on off days from school. "
  • Trulia User
"It’s actually a pretty safe area. A lot of loud trucks that like to blind you with their headlights though "
  • Mollymspray
"quiet neighbourhood. Country feel but still close to Jacksonville. They a lot of military events due to the large base in town. "
  • Lwlamona
"Friendly neighborhood. Feels safe. Well maintained sidewalks by the city. Neighbors look out for each other. Reasonable rent prices as well as for homes for sale."
  • Jason T.
"None, our neighborhood is full of headstrong individuals, no one does anyone together. Even neighbors who have known each other for years don’t do things together...it’s just not that type of neighborhood "
  • Krystal.moore0913
"There are not any community events that I know of in Richland. However there are some near by in the Jacksonville area. "
  • James L. E. .
"There are no sidewalks . Very good neighborhood. A lot of military families . Feel safe in the day also night. No crime that I know of. "
  • James L. E. .
"Safe and quiet. Neighbors are friendly. A lot of military families . Clean people keep up their lawns and yard. Good street lighting. No crime. "
  • Julie C.
"It’s a great neighborhood, many young military families with kids. It’s safe you can walk at night Everyone is friendly it’s well kept up lawns and well lit with cute decorative street lights. "
  • James L. E. .
"This is a friendly southern hospitality neighborhood. There are dog walkers it’s completely safe here Military families and their kids play safely here. All others too. People care about their neighbors here "
  • Taylor.kohl
"Very remote but safe. Lots of kids but country so everyone stays in their own yards. Close to town, small drive to larger stores. "
  • Amy L.
"I've lived in this neighborhood for 3 years and I love it! I even convinced two family members to move to the same neighborhood because they visited from out of state and fell in love with it!"
  • Isabelofrios
"There is many families with children also close to the park(walking paths, children swings, etc )clean safe area . "
  • Ashley L.
"Commute is ok. Lots of accidents happen on 258 and I work in Sneads Ferry so it’s a 35 min drive. It’s a small town with nice people and great schools. "
  • Pasillas80
"good neighbors friendly pe ople i love richlands nc i love everything about my neiborhood everybody gets along"
  • Courtney B.
"Great neighborhood to raise kids in. Neighbors are great and it's quiet even though there are a lot of people here. "
  • Penny T. C.
"Close to town but not too close. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Preppers paradise - garden space, well for water, lake for fishing...lots and lots of potential."
  • Amanda
"I love this neighborhood but I would love to see some sidewalks put in because there are so many families with children and pets around here and they have to walk in the streets which can be a major safety hazard. I would also like to see some more corner stores or other major retail stores in closer distance as well because you do need a car to go to a store out here in which there are no stores within walking distance or close by. The nightlife here is also not very much mainly just a bar is all I have seen so far since living here. You would have to go to Jacksonville to enjoy any nightlife and I think it would be nice if there were more entertainment choices here in Richlands. The only public transportation I have seen are cabs or taxi's. It would be nice if they had some public buses that come to our area as well. Other than that I love this neighborhood because of its friendly people and pet-friendly environment."
