7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love this school it is a great system that they have set up. Over all our child is now excited by learning and going to school. Where as our son was struggling in other systems he is now thriving and has been recognized as top student in class on several occasions.Parent Review4y ago - Centerton Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe had a parent teacher conference the first week of school for our child being disruptive in class. We talked to doctors about hyper activity. Child was put on Ritalin. Several weeks later we get an email that child is still being problematic. This continues the entire year month after month with bad reviews from teacher. We have been home schooling for over a year and i would say that my wife is better at dealing with problems that children have than all of the teachers and officials at this school. Our child still isnt the most patient when learning but he can read, write, and do math now all because of my wife. This school didnt have enough time to fix anything in a class room even though they have better teacher to student ratios than other schools.Parent Review3y ago - Charles L Smith Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been an educator in the district for over 10 years and I am a proud advocate for the public schools of MSD. My daughter has thrived at the Smith Fine Arts Academy, specifically. She gets a rigorous education that is balanced with opportunities to explore her interests in the arts. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principle and guidance department are equivalent to first graders , they are more concerned with popularity than academics. The athletic department is just as bad, the director and the girl varsity volleyball coach have no idea how to manage their sports. The school as a whole does not have integrity nor courage, even when they pride themselves as such. Don't make the same mistake I did by listening to the promises this school made prior to coming here there are much better schools within 20 miles of this failing cess poolParent Review8y ago - Paragon Elementary School

"Quiet small town feel while still providing all the necessary stores, restaurants, medical care etc that you’ll need. Minimal traffic. "

"I work from home so I do not commute but traffic is thick during busy times. There are many avenues to drive around the heavy traffic areas though. "

"It is extremely noisy. The airport is close by and busy. They fly right over this area. There is a lot of road raging. The construction on the roads is never ending and reduced to one lane both directions on the main thoroughfare. In the spring through late fall, there is always a lawn mower running, even on Sundays. People are inconsiderate of hours when mowing. People drive fast through this neighborhood."

"I live in wooded area so the first hand experience with nature is amazing. Everything is very quiet here. Neighbors are friendly. "

"No one has fences and we all let each other’s dogs in our house and give them treats. People who don’t even have dogs themselves join in. Our friend who lives about a mile up the road is now on the 5th generation of dogs that have all taught each other to come down every day at the same time for treats. Our neighbor up the hill passed away recently and left his house for his lawyer and in his will told him he had to buy treats for my dog and keep letting her in everyday when she visits. "

"I have lived in Mooresville for over 12 years and I would rather live here then anywhere. It doesnt have the big hustle and bustle of the city, but its not low class either. The people are all around very friendly and easy to talk to. I have a child so I have to really think of where to have him grow up and this is it! I would recommend anyone moving here!"

"Great community. Growing. Small town feeling, only 1/2 hr from downtown Indianapolis. Fifteen minutes from malls. Family friendly. Quiet cul-de-sac."
