Clean and newly painted downstairs apartment in a South Berkeley Craftsman Bungalow is two blocks from Ashby Bart and the Berkeley Bowl Marketplace. It is about a mile from UC Berkeley campus.

Newly painted and bright with plenty of recessed and wall lights.
Updated kitchen with vintage gas stove.
Updated bathroom (shower only).
Original 1912 double-hung windows preserve the home's historic Craftsman charm.
Side yard garden
Secure locked gate

Cons
The lower ceilings provide a snug, quiet atmosphere but may not be for everyone.
The original concrete floors have become uneven and we recently made an effort to grind, seal and improve the surface.
