"The kids here are a bit more free range than some parents may be at ease with. The area is generally safe though."
  • Abbiehoodmusic
"Lots of people don’t have their dogs on leash around here. Which can be frustrating if you have a dog who is not dog friendly. "
  • Amber Brooks
"Dogs are welcome in this neighborhood, they have a dog parks. No one bothers you while you are walking. "
  • Caroline Heath
"I’m not sure because I don’t have a kid, but from what I can tell it is safe, clean and a good place to raise a kid"
  • Savannah Hadwiger
"Williamson County schools are much better than the Maury county schools. Great area to raise kids, but very little for adults to do. "
  • Trulia User
"This city needs more dog parks and businesses tailored to dog owners. This city is so not dog friendly!"
  • Lisa C Mc
"It’s close to residential, but at the same time to restaurants, grocery and retail. The people are friendly and family oriented. "
  • Wittygal37
"They would love it . Everyone walks their dogs on a leash and picks up their poop. I love seeing owners walk their dogs. "
  • Jamiealisonhall
"Spring Hill is a beautiful place to live and raise a family. It’s about 30 minutes south of Nashville. The people are down to earth and overall friendly. The seasons are neat: wildflowers cover the hills in the Spring, fireflies look like magic dancing in the grass in the Summer, the fall leaves and country pumpkin patches nearby make Fall wonderful, and Winter is, well, grey and wet. They completely shut everything down if it snows a couple inches. Winter isn’t my favorite, but it makes you really appreciate the Spring. There are also rivers and waterfalls that you can get to relatively easily, as well as some great shopping in nearby Franklin. There’s live music with really good musicians in so many restaurants. "
  • Dan H.
"Spring Hill is a little congested but really safe and a nice place to live. I am moving back to WI and will miss the area."
  • Mckenzi T.
"kid friendly, neighbor friendly, clean, upkept, quiet, respectful, great 4th of july views and community"

  • Marshasalee62
"I visit here monthly and feel very safe! Lots to do and historically interesting. I look forward to each visit."
  • Kara B.
"Abysmal! Getting out of town is like playing escape from Alcatraz some days. I have to leave by 6:15 am in order to miss traffic. Driving home is sometimes 2 hours."
  • Summergoins6
"Great place to raise kids especially in neighborhoods and subdivisions that are already well established with children. HOA in this area sucks pretty badly with what they actually do which isn’t much at all. Lots of places to shop and have a nice dinner though. "
  • Trulia User
"This place is safe and the ppl here are very friendly. Everyone take go care of they’re dogs and pick up after them (dogs)."
  • Hargrovecelest
"Traffic is terrible to get on the main road a lot of wrecks in this area a lot of cars parked on the side of the road in the neighborhoods however almost everything is within walking distance "
  • Dawn H.
"There are a lot of rentals in my neighborhood and none of the houses have fenced in back yards. In order for your dog to get exercise (off a leash) you have to go to the dog park. "
  • Dawn
"People are friendly the neighborhood is safe. The area/ town is well maintained and clean. Everyone looks out for one another. "
  • richard t
"nice and quiet, always friendly neighbors, clean and safe neighborhood easy access to everything, even schools"
  • Trish F. A.
"Great neighbors, well maintained properties and accessible to all your family’s needs from doctors, hospitals and dentists to all your shopping needs, too! "
  • Tnmoclarke
"Traffic is ridiculous in Spring Hill. Nobody thought of a decent infrastructure before they started building too many houses to handle the roads and the schools."
  • Rachel M.
"Wade’s Grove is a wonderful community to raise a family ! We love the schools and the amenities. We have really enjoyed living here and we have great neighbors "
  • Jim M.
"There is a big field with a kids playground. It appears that there are a lot of dogs around. A lot of kids too. I love living here!"
  • Rachel
"Great community to raise a family. Pool, basketball court and playground are great for the kids. We love our neighborhood and the schools are great."
  • Yvonne E. C.
"Great area for families with kids. Friendly people and safer than most areas. The area is growing very quickly and houses are going up left and right. New schools have been built to accommodate the growth and the streets are being widened to help with traffic. The area is also very clean. We are starting to get sidewalks in most areas along the main road, hopefully this trend continues! We have loved Spring Hill and have live here for over 8 years."
  • Teresa B.
"its awesome we have great neighbors plus no hoa. great family oriented close to shopping and restaurants "
  • Trulia User
"Everyone walks their dog on the streets and we got a new dog park at the entrance of our neighborhood last week."
  • Relam
"Community garage sales. Nice parks. County fair. Great restaurants. Music events. BBQ competitions. Hiking trails."
  • Sheyla Z.
"our house is very close to a variety of convenient shopping like Walmart, Walgreens, Publix, Aldi, Marshals, etc. and we feel very safe and secure. "
  • Hunterwebb2002
"nice area for a family. not a great community for singles. Don't travel around 5pm. as the infrastructure doesn't support the population. "
  • Charles C. L.
"There is something to do for every holiday, no matter what the event the neighborhood comes out. It’s always well planned out"
  • Xxevewasframedxx
"They are building more stores along with it comes more traffic. People are moving here to get away from Nashvilles taxes and crime. "
  • Teresa D. B.
"It’s one of the few neighborhoods in Spring Hill that doesn’t have cut-through or heavy traffic because it’s on a “dead end” where the field still separates the neighborhood from the main roads. So it’s quiet although many people live here. It feels very safe. "
  • Tara_flinn
"Decorating committee is fun for the holidays and events hosted at the park like music festivals and fresh market Thursday’s "
  • Mlbgestas
"I have lived in this neighborhood almost five years. There a lot of folks who exercise, walk their dogs, etc. They usually stop and chat if I am in the yard. It is a very friendly place. People care about their yards and how their homes look."
