Out of all the schools you can pick in the area, please consider this last or second-last. I really hate this school. As a victim of harassment and discrimination, my experience in this school is terrible. A part of the Korean population in the school makes non-Koreans feel unwelcome. Not only that, but certain teachers grade harshly or with bias. Other people are also really toxic, since there was an account on TikTok/Insta owned by students that made false rumors, including falsely accusing teachers of pedophilia or making sexually inappropriate or violent rumors about students. The same owner owns multiple different accounts that spread false rumors about “spills,” “confessions,” and “ships.” Authority figures literally do nothing. I reported an incident that could technically count by law as an assault, but the vice principal just made us “apologize and get along well without getting parents involved.” Toxic standards among the students, including looks, grades, and behavior also exist. For example, “What’d you get?,” or “What’s your GPA?” I feel it’s just really toxic and pressures students to compare themselves with others. There is one student by an IEP, and they accommodate him somewhat better, but it doesn’t change the fact that the teachers treat everyone else like trash. And they literally just fake being nice in front of the parents at open house or back to school night which just pisses me off. Did you leave out the part where you just dismissed a report assault? Yeah, I think so. I also saw some students or some students associated with other friends hit vapes, which definitely bothers me. They weren’t even trying to hide it, since some students just walked out with their mouths full of flavored smoke. I’ve never seen one do it in school, but I bet it happens. Anyways, long story short, don’t come. Ever. Move to a different area if you have to. Because genuinely I’m so done with this and I can’t wait to get out of this school.

I am a current Sophomore and I couldn’t be more happier at this school. SHHS was not my homeschool and I chose to come here due to all the positive comments about this school. The principal and vice principals are caring, fun, and energetic and I specifically like Mr. Weinreich (our principal). He is very empathetic and always brings great energy wherever he is. Additionally, the academics is excellent and I feel like it will benefit me when writing about my classes on my college application. Lastly, I love the environment as the school has many plants, trees, caring students, and whenever we have assembly’s, events, etc, the school is so hype! Overall, SHHS is an amazing school and I would strongly recommend students to come here!
