"Very quite and great for families who don’t mind commuting and stores and food are in surrounding areas. The water quality could be better. And it’s very dry in the summer time. Overall the people are nice and neighborly. Different ethnicities here as well. "
    • Lgaitpr
"I work 10 minutes from home. My commute is excellent and there is access to major highways and expressways. There are also plenty of gas stations and access to public transportation."
    • Lgaitpr
"My commute is actually very good. The access to magic expressways is very convenient and I make it to work within a half an hour and I work in South Shore. There isn’t much standing traffic. Inclement weather makes for a longer commute, as drivers come from nearby Indiana as well."
    • Lgaitpr
"Trunk or treating, community center for children, not much else to do and a significantly high crime rate but the market rent is cheaper than most areas"
    • Anita V.
"The amount of stray cats in the area. Other dogs get loose & rome the streets. The neighbors who call the police on dogs."
    • Autumn
"Nothing at all it is a very unsafe and unpleasant area to live in. They schools are terrible and the neighborhoods are just as bad"
    • Infermias B.
"Make sure the porch/rear lights are sensor detect because theres either wild animals or kids running around the house too often at night. Get yourself a dog with a loud bark and you'll be set"
    • Coopwood123
"Live here 9yrs love it wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. Everyone gets along very well here."
    • Thomas W.
"I've been living out here for bout two years and I haven't had any problems... I stay to myself an that's that "
    • Janina M.
"Dog owners should feel welcome here. I have 2 dogs and my sister does also and we walk our dogs and feel safe!"
    • Coopwood123
"Live here for 8yrs no problems, I enjoy staying in this neighborhood and all my neighbors are warm and welcoming."
    • Acawthon9802
"The area is a safe and wonderful place to raise a family. The schools are ok and the parks appear to be safe. "
    • Acawthon9802
"The area is pretty quiet and safe for the most part. I’ve lived in Sauk village for about 4yrs and I’m very happy here. I use to live in Chicago where there was always some sort of noise. Sauk village is definitely a breath of fresh air. "
    • Nicholehenson
"I would not advise anyone to move in sauk village. The police don't come when you need them. It is a lot of break ins in the the neighborhood. The schools are garbage they do not have anything for the kids to do. The neighborhood is going down. t The water is horrible and the bills are getting higher. "
    • Shantella M.
"I lived in the neighborhood for over 30 years. And I love where I live looking for a better house but I pretty much like where I stay "
    • Keenan W.
"It’s okay but only if you like living alone. The area is nice definitely but it’s only so much you can do."
    • Shantella M.
"The houses. I love the way they are built. The streets needs to improve, we need better police officers, new mayor, better water. "
    • Wilsonlatanya60
"it's not I thought it was a great place then as the months went bye it's not. I've seen a man kill his self hold a woman hostage. body's found, kids breaking Windows."
