"really nice neighborhood not far from shopping and transportation I've been to the building and it's well kept and quiet "
  • Trulia User
"City school district. Neighborhood feel. Mostly single family homes owned by occupants but there are rental properties as well. "
  • Trulia User
"my family has lived in the North Winton village for over 16 years. We love it. it's location is great, you can get to all the suburbs in about 15 to 20 mins. But I would never have my child in the city schools. luckily she got into urban suburban in first grade. But I love the neighborhood and people and the shops. Although it has petty crime like people going through cars and packages getting stolen that's about it. "
  • Stefbascom
"You see people walk their dogs all the time in the neighborhood. People are very friendly and we know several dogs and owners just by seeing them out walking (even though we don’t have any dogs)............................"
  • Stefbascom
"We have an annual Planting Day to plant flowers in our tree-lined median. There are many kids on our street and they all play together. We know most of our neighbors on a first name basis and all text each other. Wonderful street to live on!"
  • Stefbascom
"So easy to get anywhere - we are 20 min from everything we want to do all around the city. Great location!"
  • Culver Merchants Resident
"The commute to everything is extremely convenient! Easy to access any highway within a few blocks. Anywhere you want to go is within 20 minutes. "
  • Anthony J. M.
"I'm on the Culver side. it's covered in trash. Lots of homeless activity. Fairly consistent crime. wouldn't recommend living here."
  • Krystynga
"There are often un-permitted parties at the park with loud obscene music, children, dogs and all the parking is taken. "
  • Krystynga
"Easy access to 590, 20 mins at most. Streets are well taken care of during winter. Main drags are very busy with constant traffic while the side streets remain quiet. "
  • dmsargent
"It’s a true homey neighborhood. People are very engaged with what happens here. They care for their homes and support local business. "
  • Susanr3399
"I feel safe here walking my dog and letting my kids ride their bikes to local playground. Can walk to get dinner and there’s a local hardware store that’s great! Wegmans and tops are close and convenient! "
  • Susanr3399
"I’ve lived here for 10 years and have never had any problems. Fairly quiet and well established neighborhood. "
  • Johndoe
"I'm a big fan of this neighborhood. It tends to be a lot of young families and the commercial area nearby is beginning to take off."
  • mrbobf
"Everything is very convenient. Wegmans, Tops, Price Rite all within walking distance. Also close by: auto repair shops, restaurants, pizza and fish take-outs, bars/nightlife, dry cleaners, gas stations, post office, library, banking and much more. "
  • home o.
"Tons of things to do, arts festivals, several restaurants and bars, close to expressway!!"
  • Jenelle
"After six expensive years in New York City and Philadelphia, I am thrilled to come back to Rochester to set down my roots in an unbelievably affordable home. The access to main roads and highways is terrific, as is the availability of city buses for only $1 per ride. I can go anywhere on foot, bike or bus in less than a half hour, from my favorite Park Avenue shops to the wonderful farmer's market on Wednesday nights at Blessed Sacrament Church on Monroe Avenue. It is great to find such an active neighborhood association, beautifully-manicured lawns and smiles from everyone I pass on the street!"
