4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend this school to anyone that values keeping their kids safe or values education. My son went to this school for 3rd and part of 4th grade. We had to remove him due to their lack of accountability with bullies and the staff. My son was repeatedly threatened to get beaten up. We brought it up to the school and they saw nothing wrong with it. The children that threatened him admitted it to the vp and nothing happened. It still continued. Children physically dragged my son to his bully repeatedly.As far as the education piece, when my son was missing almost a month of homework I had to bring this discrepancy up. I had to have a meeting with the teacher and vice principal. They were unhelpful. I explained my son and I did homework every night. The teacher explained the assignments never made it in. I am unsure how almost a month worth of work was not enough for the teacher to engage with me. I believe my son felt helpless there from the staff and discarded his homework repeatedly. The school failed him. It has been a full year and he still has issues after going to this school. I feel these issues were brushed off since there isn't a lot of black children at the school.Other Review3mo ago - Lindhurst High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI cannot say enough good things about this high school! We were so lucky to have found them. They offer great opportunities for students to keep them engaged and advancing. They have a vast array of sports, vocational courses, AP classes, and clubs which allow the students to plug in to things they are interested in(anime, robotics, ag programs, journalism, or even cullinary courses in a professional kitchen). I think it is amazing how much they are able to offer on their limited budget. "Private vehicle 95%, major grocery store located at least 3 miles as well as drug store. Walking distance to dollar store and couple of quick food establishments. "

"Few neighbors have cats that roam the neighborhood and leave their feces in the yard, garden. Wished they would herd to the leash law or house their cat from roaming. Very unhealthy and not to mention the stench it leaves. 😠"

"The Via Maria Park is secluded and decent. My parents live here. Other then that, Olivehurts is unfortunately a sad and desolate place to live. "

"I dispise it here. never ever live here if you don't have to. I am leaving as soon as I can afford to live somewhere else. There is nothing for kids to do and you have to drive to far to get them somewhere. I even homeschool because the schools are horrible! "
