Description

Beautifully designed by David Einung, this home has a magical feeling to it. Located on Lodge Hill just a few blocks to the sea, a blue ocean view is visible from many rooms including the front deck. Oak trees seem to surround the property and give it that "Cambria" feeling. The living room is truly a focal point with a soaring ceiling reaching up toward the lofted library and office, the western wall has stacked, large picture windows looking out towards the sea and flooding the home with sunlight. The open floor plan has a spacious kitchen with eating bar; an adjacent dining room has many windows and a built-in hutch. A dumbwaiter brings up your groceries from the garage making life so easy! There are 3 bedrooms and numerous closets. The master bedroom commands fantastic ocean views and has a large walk-in closet and large bathroom. A loft office with built-in desk and a library overlook both the living room and the ocean. Other features include a 2 car garage, inside laundry room, 2 bathrooms, and a short distance to both the water's edge and the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. This property is a triple lot parcel that goes street to street from Benson Street to Berwick Street. Brand new exterior paint and new carpeting just installed.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.

"Cambria is great, the school is small, people are friendly. It’s mostly old people around. There’s lots of great restaurants to go to and the beach is amazing."
  • Cheryl B.
"This is a very friendly and safe neighborhood. Living amongst the trees and wildlife next to the ocean is paradise."
  • Debbie T.
"There were a couple of very creepy guys with painted faces cruising the neighborhood in the middle of the day. "
  • Alan
"Affordable California coastal living. Not over crowded or over priced like southern or northern parts of California coast."
  • redlee1944
"Pines by the Sea. No rush, slow living at it's best. You can be very active or just sit and read a book on the boardwalk by the ocean."
  • Jan L. B.
"My parents bought in Cambria in 1977 and I love this neighborhood! You are so close to the ocean, to Cambria's West Village, to Moonstone Beach boardwalk and the Fiscalini Ranch which is a great place to walk, hike or bike! Beautiful ocean and coastal views. Lovely climate!"
  • slo d.
"locals will take your money for rent but will not do business with you unless you are 'local.' before you buy find out how many business have closed in Cambria they call it camalot and "cringe at ANY national publicity" "
  • AmericaStayFree
"We have stayed here, vacationed here, and love it. Maybe couples in the 30's need a bigger night life, but beyond that, it's a beautiful place to live and enjoy life. Get away from it all. The best restaurants, shopping, farmer's market, car shows, wineries, NICE people because they love where they live. Seacllift Estates is a beautiful area in Cambria......open, private, and the ocean right there. Didn't know how to rate traffic above, because there is NO TRAFFIC..... "
  • Linda F.
"the natural beauty in Cambria is truly stunning! it is a very protected environment with regard to it's wilderness, including the oceans and shorelines. it is an incredibly family friendly and community oriented. both east and west villiages, as well as Moonstone beach, are the perfect definition of quaint and lovely. and residents are welcoming to new people who move there, as long as they are conscious to be respectful of both people and the natural environment. it's good for singles who don't want a lot of nightlife and choose a more quiet, artistic, farmer's market, and charming town to call home. we lived there and loved it. we even got married there. i worked in Cambria as the managing innkeeper for a historic bed and breakfast. we are moving back as soon as we can."
