They won awards for attendance, sports, honor roll, participated in everything, and were popular with teachers and students. Have you seen the professional baseball field that Mr. Stewart is putting in with the help of parent volunteers and donations? Way to go! The staff encourages the students to do their best for intrinsic reasons, but also provides the best extrinsic rewards that I have ever seen, all within a beautiful rural school setting. "PMC is a beautiful and friendly community. Extremely safe and quiet with fun festivals in the summer and lots of local events throughout the year. The very inexpensive POA fees covers 24 hour security, road clear\rance and membership in the tennis/swim/ golf, club, There are also stables and an archery center here.The dining room is nice there and the views of the golf course are lovely. Only an hour from Santa Clarita and a quick 15 miles to Frazier Park. The village has restaurants, shops,coffee shops, churches, a fires station, real estate offices, a beauty salon, a gas station and a bakery. There are numerous outreach programs for the elderly or those needing help. I am an older woman living alone and could not feel safer . It's a great and caring community."

"Pine Mountain Club is a lovely near to Los Angeles/Bakersfield mountain community. I rate the walkability as good because there are tons of hiking trails, but if you want to work, actually you need a car to commute, get to the store etc. The club works hard to provide evening entertainments such as local plays, music and festivals although not with the diversity of city life. I think you will really like it up here if you value peace, quiet, natural beauty, and clean air."
