3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a student here in about 2021 before my mother and I had decided a move was in order (we left at the end of 2023). So, let me break down some of the faults of the school. So, having both ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and ADHD, I've gotten approximately..two instances of consistent 504 program related exceptions or assistance. And, because of their..honestly not the best curriculum (I mean, seriously, who thought 8 periods PER DAY with A/B days was a good idea?), I struggled. Hard. Of course, I tried to get some help, and the counselors tried, I can tell they did, but even with that, essentially nothing could be done. While, yes, I did meet my best friend in this district and such, and some other friends, in all honesty, this school has shown me time and time again that they don't take care of students slipping through the cracks. The students when I was there were very 50/50, and, while a personal experience, I actively struggled to get up in the morning because it was essentially impossible for me to catch up with everyone else on a schedule that swamps anyone who happens to work slightly slower or someone who gets lost. This all could have changed, sure, but..overall? 2/10 school. The only reason it isn't a 1 or a 0 is because the lunches were actually decent, and I liked playing golf..at least until I almost fainted from heat exhaustion..That was mostly my fault, though. Either way, I do not have good memories of this school. At least the teachers tried..usually.Other Review8mo ago21 Reviews - H F Stevens Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student NOW at this school, this year and last year, the amount of racism that I have received is astounding. Random people, people who think we’re friends, people I rarely talk to. In 6th grade, a random guy— COMPLETELY random, none of my friends knew him— came up to me in the halls and literally called me a racial slur. Then ran off. Hello? I’ve also had more than $105 dollars stolen? In 6th grade (2024), these english teachers were horrible as well. Hate them. I cried in class and the teacher still continued to wait for me to read. Male teacher. Nobody liked him, he failed everyone first semester until we started going up to him and asking why or saying we would report him to an admin. We did the same work over and over again. SAME WORK.Student Review1mo ago13 Reviews - David L Walker Intermediate School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs my son is a new student at David L Walker , school started in August here we are in November and haven’t not yet had a parent conference , or a follow up with my son teacher . The drop off and pick up lines are ridiculous, the school charges 3.50 lunch fee and days business todays before hitting the account ! This school is ridiculous and do not recommendParent Review5mo ago8 Reviews - Check out schools near 2002 Matador Ranch Rd.

"Commuting between this area and Dallas or Fort Worth is good overall. 170 is a great option to access Hwy 114 to Dallas and there are toll road express roads south to Fort Worth if I-35 is congested. It is often congested during rush hour at I-35 and Heritage Trace."

"This particular area of Park Glen is very crime free. Lots of sport teams activities in the park across the street. Great walking trails. You walk, or run, a half mile, a mile, even 2 or more miles! Arcadia park across the street is also a flood zone which protects us from being flooded! "
