"It’s a great place to be brought up and bring your kids and little ones up in. As a child I felt safe, which is why I have moved my family back into the area. "
  • Trulia User
"I’ve lived here 15 years. I love the neighborhood. Great neighbors, close to work, and downtown has good restaurants and The Capitol Theatre"
  • Uteplabrat
"it is very dog friendly. people walk their dogs all the time outside on the sidewalks. it is a very walkable area for all."
  • Jschuster42
"Good neighborhood. Best in Flint. I feel safe and secure. Enjoy my neighbors and love my home. If you are looking for a place to live in Flint, this is it. "
  • Zo R.
"It’s a great neighborhood for long walks with the dogs. Friendly neighbors, families, just a few minutes drive to downtown restaurants and activities. Walk or bike easily to art museum, colleges, theater, planetarium, library. "
  • Nicole H.
"I’ve lived here for awhile and neighbors are friendly and it’s very good school nearby and popular trick or treating spot"
  • Lbgrammerccn
"GREAT LOCATION! Quick access to all freeways, the ever expanding and revitalized downtown is within walking distance, there are parks (multiple playgrpunds, tennis courts, wooded trails, basketball courts, bridges, pet friendly, etc.). GALORE within the neighborhood, and there is one of the the best collections in the state of arts and cultural activities and events. The best part is it is family friendly and safe. Not only do we have local and private security, but also... everyone watches out for their neighbors! "
  • Roshell1963
"The available schools here from Kindergarten to Grade 6 is outstanding, with a very low student to teacher ratio. "
  • NickyP.
"I've lived in this neighborhood for 3 years and it's probably the friendliest, safest place in flint. Not to say you shouldn't still keep your doors locked but I always felt safe while living here."
  • Nancy C.
"STAY AWAY! No schools in this area. Plus, the grocery store in this area is a Spartan store and their prices are absolutely ridiculously high. I don't have small children, but I'm trying to get myself in my elderly mother out of here as soon as possible. The sooner the better. find somewhere else to move to. Flint, especially this neighborhood, is awful."
  • Nancy C.
"None. I hate this area. I hate Flint. Hoping to move to Clio. And soon. My elderly mother & I are both disabled, w/no transportation. We can't find anyone who delivers water on a regular basis. And we've run out! Literally. This water has murdered more than 15 of our cats! Seriously. So yeah... We hate Flint very much."
  • Kara J.
"Close knit community with beautiful homes and lots of history. We are so happy to have found a place in this neighborhood!"
  • Amy D.
"Very good people. Can appreciate a friendly hello or helping find the neighbors loose dog. it's really all about the amazing people that live here"
  • Kara J.
"We have lived here for two months and could not be happier. We have amazing neighbors. Lots of kids around us and two parks that are within walking distance! "
  • Kara J.
"We just moved here and everyone has been extremely welcoming! The homes are all very unique and absolutely gorgeous. "
  • Allen B.
"Great place to grow a family, wonderful neighborhood... Like living in Mayberry RFD. Just need your Great-Aunt to move in and you'd have it all. "
