They don’t give us food before our football game

We were having way too many issues with the school and my daughter’s behaviors were getting worse. An Assistant grabbed my autistic child’s arm one day and then my final straw was someone from the school told my husband we should start spanking her. I had to report the school to the TEA and the principal's first suggestion, at my child’s ARD Meeting, was to transfer my daughter to a new school, not what they could do to remedy it. They clearly wanted to get rid of my child and not help her. When I asked my daughter why she was being bad, her reason was, “I’m a bad kid”, so the teachers and assistants were telling my 6 year old, autistic child that she was a bad kid. After discussing with family and my daughter’s School Advocate/Social Worker, we decided to pull her from the school and homeschool her. The social worker even said it sounds like a Civil Liberties issue with the school. If you’re child is in special education or has disabilities, I DO NOT Recommend this school

My oldest daughter went to this school and the 7th and 8th grade. She Teachers were helpful and made sure she got the help she needed when it came to Special education help. By the time it came to 8th grade graduation the principal left and joined the high schools which I Thomas great because they know the students and continue to cheer them on.
